John Ryan, the master craftsman with over 28 years of experience in the world of Ceramics. John finished top of his class in Kilkenny before working for several of Ireland’s top studio potters. The Talented Irish Potter makes functional and decorative stoneware ceramics in his studio in the rural heartland of south county Sligo, where he draws inspiration from the simplicity and beauty of the surrounding landscape. All the pieces are hand thrown by John on the potter’s wheel, fired to stoneware temperature and decorated in food safe glazes. Resulting in a beautiful collection that is food safe as well as dishwasher and oven proof.
