Contemporary, earthy and industrial concrete home accessories designed and handcrafted in Wicklow, Ireland.

Kaiko Studios work mostly with concrete, resin and brass. Their designs are nature inspired and organic in harmony with architecture and geometry. While living in Dublin city centre, the influence from the urban setting was very visible in their designs with clean symmetrical lines and monochrome palette but since moving to Bray, Co Wicklow, they definitely feel a change to more organic designs with subtle colour pops.

They try to learn new skills in various crafting classes that might not necessarily be connected to their own style but it gives them a different perspective and new approach to their work. Some designs emerge from countless experiments, some from lucky mistakes and others stay on “learning curve” shelf.

They are also inspired by Japanese world view called Wabi Sabi, where focus is on embracing rustic simplicity and beauty that comes with age. Most of their concrete home-wares have visible imperfections that are accented with gold detail that make each piece truly unique.
